The Sheet Metal Workers’ Training Facility is a 5,000 sq/ft building designed to train in all facets of the Sheet Metal Trade. It has a state of the art Computer Lab equipped with over a dozen computers. In combination with innovative software, we are able to keep paced with the fast growing technologies in CAD and BIM. We also have a Service Lab where students can learn the basics or upgrade their skills in the field of HVAC Service. Our facility is equipped with a shop containing all the common equipment found in a most shops allowing hands-on training in Layout and Duct Design. Welding booths are also available for members to learn a new skill or upgrade an existing one. We are an American Welding Society accredited facility and are equipped to conduct weld certification testing. The Sheet Metal Workers’ Training Facility assists journeyperson in obtaining the certifications and qualifications required in the workforce such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Hoisting and Rigging, Crane Signaling and EPA certification. We can help those without a State of Oklahoma Mechanical License prepare for state testing, or if you already have a license, we are approved by the State of Oklahoma to provide Continuing Education Units for Mechanical Journeyman. Training is customized to fit meet the needs of the individual and is designed to fit into a working persons schedule.
